It seems like yesterday we were celebrating or worrying that the end was at hand in anticipation of Y2K. Well, it came and went and so has another decade. How can that be???
The New Year will have it's challenges, starting with remembering to put 2010 instead of 2009. Hopefully things will start picking up in the jobs market, and people will begin to enjoy life once again.
Thanks to Jim Richards for taking on the annual Christmas fund, and thanks to all of you we raised over $1100.00 dollars. This went to Shiloh Hills Elementary where they distribute the funds to the families that were in need at Christmas. This is always a worthwhile event and this year was probably one the most important in a long time.
There are changes coming with the shifts on January 1st. There is always the adjustments to who your working with or for. As we continue to grow those changes will get more challenging. The new contract starts on January 1st too.
Your e-board has been working on updating our Constitution and By-laws, so be expecting it to be in the stations for review and a vote in the next couple of months.
Thanks for your support this past year, and I am looking forward to the New Year.
Happy New Year,
Your Pres.
P.S. December minutes are posted.
